Oakland is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Oakland is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Called and tried to order ahead of time after 5 minutes of being on hold I ended up just driving over to order. I legit was still on the phone as I approached the window and the lady takjg orders was just chilling on her phone. When I asked her what was going on there was legit no apology or anything just you wanna order? Ok I put me order in. They fried the chicken so much the the bone starting to splinter apart. I used to go here a lot spend $100s of dollars but the quality has gone done. I can tell the employees have no passing or care. A few are nice and when the dude is there he's really chill. The portions today were sub-par and honestly it's kinda weird they switched the adobo over to chicken wings and flats. The flavor just isn't the same.

I got the G-Fire Wings and Pork Belly Adobo special. Place wasnβt busy but the service was hella slow. It took like 20 mins for my food to be ready. I donβt know, maybe they were butchering the chicken? The ambiance really isnβt my thing with the graffiti covered walls, loud music that you canβt hear yourself talk, uncomfortable stools and the speeding cars along Fruitvale. Butβ¦hey I am old compared to the youngins here. Haha! G-Fire wings are like $2.50 each, but they buy the ones that look like they are on steroids! π. They are pretty darn big. They were fried fresh (probably why order took so long). Sauce coating was a little uneven but they were still good, although not as good as I remembered them last year when i dropped by for their free food giveaway. The pork belly adobo was hecka salty. The rice portion was just two tiny scoops. I mean whatβs up with that? Rice is cheap and the Thrifty Ice Cream counter gives bigger scoops (see Iβm oldβ¦only old peeps remember Thrifty Ice Cream counters!) π. But seriously, they need to be more generous with the rice especially when you need it to curb the salty main. Between the entree and a la cart wings, it was enough for m

Found this Filipino gem while working out in Oakland. It's a hole in the wall, but those are usually the best kind. They had traditional Filipino breakfast iykyk. I went with G Fire Wings Plate with the Garlic Fried Rice and XL Lumpia. SLAP my face and call me Sally that Good. The sauce on the wings with crispy skin and juicy meat, gimme more. The XL Lumpia is just that, 7inch Lumpia and it didn't disappoint. Just a heads up, I would call ahead for your order cause they be busy!

Came here just for the wings. They were extra crispy and that sauce π₯10/10. Owner was real cool and let me and my friend try 2 on the house before we ordered. I love good customer service. Would definitely come back

I've passed by this place countless time and finally decided to make a stop specifically for the wings. There's a bit of a wait as the food is prepared fresh. Service is nice and orders are taken through a slot in the door. Prices are higher than most wing spots, but their flavors are difficult to find compared to most western eateries.
